Overview

Fast, well defended, and capable of carrying the corvette-grade weapon the Prototype Matter/Anti-Matter Launcher, the #deca.deaf is potentially a lethal ship.

Background

Originally terraforming drones deployed from the #deca CPU ship, these ships appear to have been modified along with #deca to perform a defensive role.

Physical Characteristics

The #deca.deaf has a spindly, blocky construction, with its main guns mounted in a forward-protruding bay.

Combat

With a turret for missile defense, the #deca.deaf has an advantage over other M4s in that it isn't as vulnerable to being one-shotted by medium missiles. This gives it a better chance of survival when fighting other small craft.

Equipment

The #deca.deaf can mount either EEMPCs or PMAMLs in its forward gun bays, and an EMPC in its tailgun. It can also carry Poltergeist missiles.

Availability

The #deca.deaf can be bought at either of the Aldrin Ship Production Bases in Aldrin orbit.

Suggested Roles

As an M4, the #deca.deaf lacks the durability to be a frontline fighter. It is fairly quick and well shielded for its class though, so makes a very effective interceptor.
