The Teladi Peregrine has a slightly larger cargo capacity than other Commonwealth bombers, but is dreadfully slow and hence represents a sitting duck to a fighter swarm unless some of its precious cargo capacity is eaten up with a jumpdrive and energy cell reserve.

Confronted with an ever-rising threat of enemy capital ships, the Peregrine was specifically designed to help eliminate these dangers in the most cost-effective manner possible.

Physical Characteristics[edit]

Somewhat similar in design and size to the Paranid Hades, the Peregrine nevertheless demonstrates its haphazard Teladi origins, looking like it was put together from the scraps of other cannibalized ships. Yet, for a Teladi ship it is surprisingly sleek and the cockpit view is free of obstructions.

Peregrine pilots have a choice not unlike those of the Gannet: Stock up entirely on missiles for awesome longevity on the battlefield, making it vulnerable to attack, or utilizing the bomber as a one off strike craft, which launches a few salvoes then retreats via jumpdrive.

The Peregrine utilizes the Tomahawk Heavy Missile.

It may also be captured from Teladi patrols or pirate forces typically spawned by station defense missions.

Suggested Roles[edit]

As a bomber, the Peregrine is best used from relatively long range, where it can launch its load of missiles at enemy capital ships and stations before retreating.
